Where is the Black River Coliseum located?

Follow these easy steps to get here from any direction...

EAST- Take HWY 60 West to Poplar Bluff, merge on to 67 south. Turn left on Business HWY 60, proceed to 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th, proceed 5 blocks to the Coliseum.

WEST- Take HWY 60 East to Poplar Bluff, merge on to 67 south. Turn left on Business HWY 60, proceed to 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th, proceed 5 blocks to the Coliseum.

NORTH- Take HWY 67 south to Business HWY 60 proceed to 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th, proceed 5 blocks to the Coliseum.

SOUTH- Take I-55 north to HWY 60 and proceed to 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th, proceed 5 blocks to the Coliseum.


What kind of events does the Coliseum host?
Our state-of-the-art 115,000 square foot multi-purpose facility houses concerts, bull riding, cage fights, family shows, trade shows, conferences, banquets, and an endless variety of events. Our unique design allows us to accommodate every event with intimate seating and proximity creating the perfect setting for each attendee. We offer a seating capacity of up to 5,000 and average 4,500 for concerts and sporting events. With full facility access we accommodate business meetings, internet training classes, receptions, and seminars.

Are any of the views at the Coliseum obstructed?
Not usually. In fact, the Web site features pictures that show points of view from each different section. Feel free to preview as many sections as you like and pick your favorite to ensure you’ll always get the seat you want! For concert seating, click here.

I plan to drive to the Coliseum. Is there adequate parking?
Absolutely! The Coliseum offers several hundred parking stalls in a huge surface lot located directly across the street from the facility. Also, the Coliseum offers accessible parking attached to the facility, literally just a few steps from the back doors. These entrances are located behind the building (west side) for Accessible Seating patrons. Finally, all parking is free of charge!

Are Cameras Allowed?
For most events, non-professional still cameras are allowed. HOWEVER, each concert has their own guidelines and restrictions on picture taking. Please watch for signs that say NO CAMERAS ALLOWED to be certain. When you see this simply return your camera to your vehicle and lock it safely inside. We do ask that patrons refrain from bringing and using any form of video recording devices, including cell phones with recording capabilities.

Are there concession stands available?
For most events, the Black River Coliseum operates 2 concession stands. For larger events an additional 3rd stand is opened.

The following menu items are available at our concession stands: Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Pizza, Pretzels, Nachos, Sodas, Candy, Coffee and Cappuccino, Deli Pickles, BBQ and Energy Drinks.

For children’s events, specialty items are often added to the menu, including cotton candy, churros, and other treats.

Do you have ACCESSIBLE SEATING & ENTRANCES?
The Coliseum offers accessible parking attached to the facility, literally just a few steps from the back doors. These entrances are located behind the building (west side) for Accessible Seating patrons.There are several options available for patrons requesting accessible seating.You may  contact our Box Office directly during normal business hours Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm and one of our staff members will assist you in reviewing these options in person to determining which one works best for you.  You may also purchase Accessible seating through Ticketmaster directly.  Simply click on the event of your choice at www.ticketmaster.com/brc and the map will show you what is available to choose from for each show.

Do you offer Sign Language for the hearing impaired?
Yes.  We request 2 weeks advanced notice if you need these services so that we may arrange for our Sign Language Provider to be present.

Is there a list of prohibited items?
For the safety and protection of all, we ask our patrons to refrain from bringing with them any of the following items: Cans, Glass bottles, coolers, plastic beverage containers, food or beverage of any kind, helium balloons, pets (other than service animals), laser pointers, sticks (excluding those on pennants or flags) and weapons of any sort.

Backpacks and carry-ons are allowed, but are subject to search at the discretion of Black River Coliseum officials.

What are the Box Office hours?
Our Box office is open at the following times for your convenience:

8:00am to 5:00pm on Monday through Friday

Closed for all major holidays.

Box Office open from 8:00am through start of main act for weekday events, open 12:00 pm for weekend events. Box Office phone is 573-686-8001.

Box office parking available.

Will Call/Box Office located at main entrance to facility. Outside box office is only in use during the day of “ON SALE” and the “DAY OF EVENT”. All other transactions take place within the lobby at the main box office.
